Jorge e a'ngela, due individui soli alla ricerca del senso della vita, si incontrano in una notte piovosa per le strade buie e violente di Bogota'. Jorge, un giovane tassista distrutto emotivamente dalla recente morte del fratello per mano di un gruppo di criminali, cerca vendetta. a'ngela, artista e regina della notte, e' una cocainomane risucchiata dai labirinti della citta'. La solitudine della notte, sempre uguale a se stessa, la vacuita' delle strade, altrettanto immutabile, e la violenza della citta' li porteranno a un oscuro incontro con se stessi che li riscattera', proprio come la pioggia, al pari delle lacrime e del sangue, placa la sete e riporta la vita sul freddo asfalto.
